So how does it all work?
1) Do the confessions get posted immediately?
Nope. THC moderates all the confessions and generally updates the
site every 2 hours.
2) What doesn't get posted?
-Confessions with gratuitous and really explicit sexual content or
profanity. We want you to get down and dirty in the confessional, but
we encourage you to keep your confessions R rated. If you don't we
will have to.
-Confessions which are not really confessions but rather nasty,
judgmental or just plain mean statements. We're all for witty
observations, advice, support, props, and encouragement for your
fellow THC community members, but if you don't have something nice (or
witty, observant, supportive...) to say, please don't say it.
-Confessions which are just too kinky (we know this is subjective...)
or discuss things that are just plain against the law. That won't
fly.
3) What about comments? What's OK and what's not??
Like we said above, don't trash your fellow confessors. If you want
to add to the conversation, we encourage you to do so (really, we do).
But we don't want this site to turn into a forum for verbal abuse and
harassment. Play nice. Or we will spank you.
4) Will my confessions really be anonymous?
Yes. Absolutely. Pinky swear. You commitment-phobes will never have
to give us your name or information unless you choose to build a
profile with us and want us to send you really cool stuff. Then,
we'll know you (sort of) but your identity NEVER has to be connected
to your confessions.
5) Do you edit confessions?
We have to admit we are sticklers for spelling errors so yes, we will
edit out egregious blights on the English language. We have also been
known to edit a few really really really wordy confessions believing
that in most cases, less is more.
6) Any legal stuff?
Glad you asked... here's the small print:
We reserve the right to publish your confessions at our own
discretion. We also reserve the right to use and modify confessions as
standard procedure for True Media LLC. When you confess on True Hook
Up Confessions, you are granting us the right to a royalty-free,
perpetual, irrevocable, fully sub-licensable, exclusive right to use,
reproduce, modify, translate, adapt, publish, create derivative works
from, distribute, perform, display, and delete such content in other
works in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter
developed.
7) Can I add my own category?

8) Can I upload pictures with my confessions?
Sure. But you need to upload the right image code - we can't do it for you. And to keep our whole "anonymity" thing going, no pictures with faces. And nothing pornographic! Suggestive is fine, but nothing you couldn't have open on your computer at the office. And sorry to repeat ourselves, but we can't guarantee we'll post your photos.
