CONFESS YOUR eBREAKUP STORIES!!
It's bad enough when the bastard breaks your heart in real life, so it'd be totally understandable if you wanted to throw your computer out the window when you see that evil little Facebook icon - broadcast to all your friends, no less.
THC wants you to send us your online breakup confessions, so let's hear 'em! The best one we overheard at the SXSW conference in Austin, TX, earlier this month:
"My friend found out his girlfriend had dumped him when he read her new Facebook status. Seriously. It just said, 'X is totally and completely done with Y. Have a nice life.'"
I'll kick things off by admitting that while I've never been involved in a spat that extreme, I did sabotage a perfectly good FWB situation last year when one unfortunate Saturday night I drunkenly noted new comments from Fifi from Silverlake, a buxom brunette who enjoyed posting sexually-themed widgets on her profile, on his MySpace page. The texting and emails that followed were, well, not pretty. Needless to say we ended abruptly and Fifi has since been succeeded by posts from a slew of other skanks. (C'mon, of course I looked!) For some reason, even though I knew in real life that he probably hooked up with other people it was much harder to stomach seeing them online.
I still maintain that I am WAY hotter than any of them!!

We are joining forces with our friends at dear sugar to bring you a midweek confessional with their "to forgive or not to forgive" twist.
This week's confession:
"My husband and I had been together a total of 16 years when he suddenly passed away at 32, one year ago. Now I'm having the most amazing sex with his best friend. Does this make me a bad person? Can I be forgiven for being happy again?"

My confession is that, unlike so many affairs I know of, I desperately don't want him to leave his wife for me. As long as we both have spouses we are coming home to, there is no pressure to have this be anything other than fun and games."
